About Me

I’m a 20 something corporate drone who often daydreams of dramatically leaving everything behind to explore the world.

This blog was borne partly as a means to share my travel photos but mainly as an outlet to escape the everyday frustrations of office life.

As most of us have grown comfortable living a routine existence of work/ school/ family merely longing for the next vacation to enjoy life, may we not forget that everyday is an adventure waiting to happen if we gave it a chance.

Enjoy the blog!

I encourage everyone to NOT be a corporate drone. It’s draining and fruitless. Enjoy your dreams! Travel, eat, socialize, and be merry! I make thousands of dollars less than my friends, but have a lot more fun and enjoyment in life. I might also add that I know a lot of seniors who saved all their life for their grand retirements, and because of health or handicaps they do nothing. Great blog!

Thank you. That is actually my greatest fear, to look back at my life and realise that I haven’t enjoyed it. It’s a really good mantra for living as well. :p

    Hi Maria,
Thanks for visiting and ‘liking’ my blog post. I appreciate it.
I must say….you are living my dream…..I glanced at your ‘People’ archives, and was awestruck. This blog you’ve created is perfect, and it’s great how you have the talent to express what you see!

(So might I ask….I imagine you have more than one angle or point of view for any number of the images you’ve posted….how do you decide…:”this is the one I want to post” ?)
Thanks again, and keep up the great travels!

Thank you for your kind words :) I don’t really have a method to picking photos. I just flip through my archives and pick one that I like or reminds me best of that moment when I took it. Btw, as for your dream, it’s not like what I’m doing is difficult to achieve. It’s just travel. Everyone can do it (and should), it’s just a matter of actually deciding to get up and doing it. :)

From one Corporate drone to another, drink in life’s moments and travel as often as you can!! It makes the “Droneism” :) worth it! :D

I like your blog very much–and wonderful images. I used to be a travel stock photographer, I’ve been to many of the places you profile. You add a wonderful human touch–not to serious, not silly, just right.

Keep it up! And, most importantly, to your point, don’t grow too comfortable.
